Vertical 03 · IndustrialChemical Grade

Process-grade sodium chloride. Specified to your reactor.

High-purity industrial salt for chlor-alkali production, oilfield drilling brines, textile dyeing, food processing, and broader chemical manufacturing. Contaminant thresholds documented per lot — matched to membrane cells, completion fluids, or process spec.

01 — Specifications

The technical envelope process engineers specify against.

02 — Applications

Where this product runs across industrial chemistry.

Chlor-alkali production

Membrane-cell-grade sodium chloride feedstock for chlorine and caustic soda manufacturing. Tight Ca/Mg/SO4 control protects membrane life and cell efficiency over multi-year operating cycles.

Oilfield & energy

Bulk salt for completion fluids, workover brines, and drilling mud weight-up. Logistics aligned to Permian, Eagle Ford, and Haynesville activity with wellsite and frac-yard discharge.

Process & food chemistry

General-process and food-grade salt for textile dyeing, leather processing, food brining, and downstream chemical reactions where purity and moisture control drive end-product consistency.

03 — Procurement FAQ

Answers process engineers and buyers ask first.

What grade of salt is required for chlor-alkali production?

Membrane cells require 99.7%+ NaCl with strictly controlled Ca/Mg/SO4 levels to prevent membrane fouling. We supply chlor-alkali grade product with contaminant thresholds documented per lot via COA.

Can Amerige Minerals supply oilfield drilling brine?

Yes. Bulk sodium chloride for completion fluids, workover brines, and mud weight-up is available with logistics aligned to Permian, Eagle Ford, and Haynesville activity. Pneumatic and end-dump delivery into wellsite tanks is the standard mode.

What contaminant thresholds are documented on the COA?

Each lot's COA documents Ca, Mg, SO4, and insolubles alongside NaCl purity and moisture. For chlor-alkali and food-grade applications, extended trace metal screening is available on request.

Can volumes be coordinated with rail logistics?

Yes. For high-volume contracted customers, rail-to-truck transload from origin terminals is coordinated through the carrier network. Terminal positioning along I-35, I-10, and I-20 supports continuous annual delivery.
